Koko Taylor - RIP .......

"The Queen of the Blues".

She was a great one. I was fortunate to have seen her 2-3 times back when I lived close to Chicago.

One big bundle of energy that could light up a crowd. Man, she was loud. A big, powerful voice.

I saw her in a small joint one time and she played the crowd so well it was amazing. Made eye contact with anyone who came in range and gave 'em a smile.
She really was something and had pipes that were out of this world.
