Here's a big, Damn Surprise ..............
I picked up a Chicago Tribune last Friday while I was on the "Trip". Looked it over quickly while sucking down a bottle of Gatoraid and tossed in the saddlebags and forgot about it till this morning, when I unloaded some of the extra shit still in the bags. - Nice run on sentence, eh?
Anyway, I noted in the upper right corner a small title under the "World" category. "Bush critic wins literature Nobel"
What a Shocker that is. Who would have expected a "Bush critic" to be awarded a friggin' Nobel? Better yet. Who would've expected anything BUT a "Bush critic" to be awarded anything from these Leftist Assholes.
Harold Pinter was the lucky recipient. I was trying to recall why I knew that name...... I'm not a big fan of plays in general and admittedly, I am a bit ignorant of who's who in that part of the world. Yeah, British playwrights for $500, Alex, is not likely to be one of the first categories I go to on jeopardy.
Then it hit me. OHhhhhhhh, THAT Harold Pinter. - "The American administration is a bloodthirsty wild animal" ( The Telegraph 11-12-02)
"The playwright said: "The US is really beyond reason now. It is beyond our imagining to know what they are going to do next and what they are prepared to do. There is only one comparison: Nazi Germany.
"Nazi Germany wanted total domination of Europe and they nearly did it. The US wants total domination of the world and is about to consolidate that." (The guardian 6-11-03)
Here's a little something from his website - (Hat tip to LGF)
In 1958 I wrote the following: "There are no hard distinctions between what is real and what is unreal, nor between what is true and what is false. A thing is not necessarily either true or false; it can be both true and false." I believe that these assertions still make sense and do still apply to the exploration of reality through art. So as a writer I stand by them but as a citizen I cannot. As a citizen I must ask: What is true? What is false?
Maybe he should just shut the fuck up if he can't tell what the hell is going on anyway. Goofy Bastard gets a Nobel for what again? Oh yeah, He's a "Bush Critic".
Complete and total bullshit. Pinter, the Nobel academy and the rest of the leftist assholes who adore these Socialist Bastards all need a good kick in the Nards. No, they need several good kicks in the Nards. Daily. That may be a cure for Bush Derangement Syndrome. But I doubt it.

There's no end to the BS I can Google on this Spoogenozzle. But what's the point? King Gustav III began the academy in 1786. Somehow, I doubt the recent winners are what he envisioned when He set up the whole thing.
