But it was only Federal Protective Service officers with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security who were conducting a random training operation early Tuesday morning when they surprisingly showed up at the Social Security Administration office in downtown Leesburg.
With their blue and white SUVs circled around the Main Street office, at least one official was posted on the door with a semiautomatic rifle, randomly checking identifications. And other officers, some with K-9s, sifted through the building..."
Yep. Just your Friendly Neighborhood VIPER Team on the job getting folks used to seeing State Security Agencies everywhere.
And they will be seeing you too.
Why 2012 is starting to look like 1984-
"Between SOPA, NDAA, telecommunications surveillance, and people's willingness to share endlessly via social networking, will 2012 mark the year consumers irreversibly surrender their privacy and freedoms?"
Just remember why they are there -
And they have been doing a bang up job of that for quite some time.
And they Don't Approve of you being aware of it.

There is no doubt that the role of, Peace Officer has been replaced by that of the, Law Enforcement Officer.

I work with Cops every day and have a great relationship and friendship with many of them.
So don't think I'm being a hater of Cops in general here. Far from it.
But somethings wrong with this country and we better get a handle on it pretty soon.
Because the logical or the, at least to be expected reaction to this escalation of force against civilians for simple drug warrants is this-
6 cops shot, 1 dead serving search warrant in Utah
Like it or not.
Whether you agree with it or not.
That's where this is headed.
I think the Botched Raid and Murder of Jose Guerena earlier this year may have been the turning point for some folks.
Don't know this and just a guess on my part. But I fully expect to see more reaction from citizens to excessive violence. Maybe not like this case, but reacting none the less.

"A Missouri federal judge ruled the FBI did not need a warrant to secretly attach a GPS monitoring device to a suspect’s car to track his public movements for two months."
